Designed for beginning beekeepers seeking a prepared, ready-to-install colony, this limited package combines a locally raised honeybee nuc, eight established deep resource frames, and a complete eight-frame Langstroth beehive.

Materials and Construction
The hive boxes are constructed from durable cedar and coated with beeswax for added protection. The pine frames contain food-grade plastic foundation sheets that have also been dipped in beeswax to encourage acceptance by the bees.
Dovetail joints provide additional structural strength, while predrilled holes allow for accurate nail placement and easier assembly. All required nails are included. Although the equipment is supplied to us unassembled, your hive and frames will be assembled before pickup.
Installation and Expansion
The five nuc frames and three additional resource frames provide all eight established frames needed to fill the deep brood box immediately.
The kit also includes eight new deep frames with wax-coated foundation, which can be retained for future expansion or used as replacement frames. The medium honey super includes eight new medium frames with wax-coated foundation and should be added only after the colony has become sufficiently established and requires additional space.
The queen excluder should not be installed until the honey super is added.
